Week 8

First of all, I am sorry that this came out so late. I RODE A HORSE!!! I did it at ravenscroft riding stables! My horse’s name is Khalifa! She was brown with a white snout. The ride was about one hour long, and was uncomfortable, but totally worth it! When I was on the ride I saw: bean plants, corn, coffee plants, and Pipa trees! I peeled and ate some of the Pipas, and they were amazing! They are kind of like apricots, but you have to peel them. I wore a helmet, boots, and a thing that goes on your legs. The boots were a little big, but everything else was pretty good. There was a horse named Rosie, and she had an abusive owner, so she snapped at everybody, but then I fed her an apple, and she liked me. The horse’s names were, in stall order: Rosie, Khalifa (My horse), Alfred (my mom’s horse), and Merlin (the guide's horse).

  1. Wow! Khalifa looks pretty big! Bet you were high in the sky when you rode her. Were you ever afraid you would fall off without a seatbelt? Gramma Dugan
