Week 3

Welp, the last house didn’t last very long. Intact, it lasted three days.  The NEW house we are in has a playground! It has a spiny thing, another spiny thing, a see-saw, and a swing! The neighbor’s yard has a trampoline, but we can go over there when ever we want.  Unlike other streets, the street to the school bus is a walkway. The school bus is pretty fun, but people keep jumping up and down when the bus is moving and sometimes they bump into me. The cobblestone streets are also very bumpy. The banana bread at the snack stand is very good. Speaking of the snack stand, there is a food that I really like called the tostada. It is like a big chip covered in beans. You can sprinkle cheese or guacamole on it, but I don’t like it like that. My dad is coming home tomorrow! I came here two weeks in advance, and he was just packing everything up at our old house. Another family is going to stay there.

How is school? Is it taught in Spanish or English? What are some differences from your US school?

  2. Hi Niko, I really like your blog. It says what you're thinking of. Food!! Of course, you're (what) 11 years old and of course you're thinking of food. All the time. Hooray for tostadas! And banana bread. Keep eating and growing. Soon you'll be taller than your mother. Gramma Dugan
